Directing
Television directing credits include the critically acclaimed ABC hybrid sit-com Sons and Daughters and Campus Ladies for the Oxygen Network. He was a writer and improv director for The Wayne Brady Show. He co-created the NBC television improv show World Cup Comedy, which ran for two seasons on PAX and included some outstanding performers including Kristen Wiig, Wendy McClendon-Covey, Dan Castellaneta, Edi Patterson, and Fred Willard.
Dan has taught playwriting and screenwriting programs for UC Santa Barbara and Duke University. He was an adjunct professor for USC‘s BFA program and has also taught in the MBA program for the University of Texas McCombs School of Business. He has coached Cirque du Soleil casts of Saltimbanco, O, KA, Corteo, Zumanity, and The Beatles LOVE. He has been a consultant and trainer for Dreamworks and Disney Animation.
